Clean, nice basic hotel, I really enjoyed reasonably priced rooms and useful staff. The breakfast was savoury with various items! I was there for the trip and had a perfect stay, so I will be back.

I really cannot complain at all about my stay at Hotel Batory. I was there for four nights with six other members of my family who also thought the hotel was excellent. The staff were so helpful with what every we requested, the food was excellent and we ate there three of the four evenings, breakfast was varied and very enjoyable would definately stay there again.

The hotel is not in the historical old city, so we could have more silence. There was the St. John's party and a live peformance of several musical groups, near the river, but we hardly could hear them. So, we loved the localization, the price-quality relationship, the laundry were changed everyday. We also loved their gastronomy: breakfast was very good with several speciallities, we only missed hot milk, but as we asked for, an employee brought it very fast.At lunch, the goulash we were served was marvellous.
We perceive that Polish people usually don't laugh, they are nice but they just smile a few, they don't give much empathy. Perhaps it is a cultural issue. As Euro is not yet the Polish currency, the cost of living in Poland seemed to us cheaper than Portuguese one. We loved the historical monuments of Krakow and surroundings.

The hotel is conveniently located near the city center. The breakfast had a great variety, and we loved the lovely outdoor patio, perfect for family meals after a day of sightseeing.
In my wife's opinion, a small play area for kids would be great.

Great location just a short stroll from the Old Town and Kazimierz. Breakfast was a good buffet with a wide variety. Staff were always great, even helping out when I lost my documents.
Could improve on air conditioning options in the rooms during warmer nights.
